A Legacy of Peace

One of the most memorable moments was when Leonardo Olazábal and his wife Petri Marín, president and vice president of the Ada Roerich Association, presented a painting to the royal couple as a tribute to Nicholas Roerich, creator of the Pact of Peace of 1935. During the presentation, Leonardo shared heartfelt words that captured the essence of the gathering:

“Dear Prince Kunle and Princess Keisha, both Petri and I are deeply moved following the beautiful RED CARPET event at Bella Vista. Without a doubt, it was a Gala from Heart to Heart, where we felt like One Family and One Tribe, in perfect heart-to-heart harmony. The communication was soul-to-soul, which is rare. Thank you for these moments of Peace, Art, and Culture, which foster a beautiful energy evolving into a spiral of Love for the entire Planet Earth.”

Described as a “Heart-to-Heart Gala”, the event was filled with emotional moments. In her speech, Princess Keisha highlighted: “Our mission has always been to create a space where people can find inspiration, comfort, and community. We believe that art and culture not only entertain but also have the power to heal and transform.”

Prince Kunle, on his part, led a minute of silence in honor of the victims of Dana and emphasized: “RED CARPET celebrates art and culture but also aims to impact lives, build bridges, and plant hope in every community we touch.”

One of the event’s highlights was the presentation of the Princess Keisha Omilana Peace Awards for Culture and the Arts, recognizing outstanding contributions to art and philanthropy. Among the awardees was Sabina Calatayud, who shared: “Receiving this award is an honor that I carry in my heart. It is a reminder that art and culture are powerful tools to connect, inspire, and change the world. Thank you to RED CARPET for giving me this opportunity to contribute to its wonderful mission.”

Similarly, Raquel Entero, Countess of Pineda, also awarded for her remarkable collaboration, expressed: “It is incredible to be part of a project that not only celebrates talent and creativity but also seeks to build a more just and compassionate world. Seeing so many people from different backgrounds come together around this vision is truly inspiring.”

The event featured memorable performances that added to the magical atmosphere, such as interpretations by Jennifer Jade and Ilona Mataradze. The evening reached its climax with a rendition of We Are the World by cellist Iván, during which Prince Kunle held hands with attendees, symbolizing unity through peace and love.

RED CARPET aims to be more than a one-time event—it seeks to become a global movement that inspires through art, culture, and service. With plans to expand across Valencia and organize activities in five key regions, it aspires to establish itself as an international benchmark for cultural and philanthropic initiatives.

As Princess Keisha expressed at the end of the gala: “This is only the first step of a journey that promises to leave a lasting mark. RED CARPET is not just a project; it is a movement, and we are excited for what lies ahead.”

The event highlighted not only the transformative power of art and culture but also the ability to unite hearts and build bridges across communities. RED CARPET stands as a living legacy of peace, creativity, and hope, illuminating not just Valencia but the entire world.
