A Royal Collaboration

Princess Keisha, a devoted mother of two and wife to HRH Prince Kunle Omilana, has transitioned seamlessly from the bustling streets of global capitals like London, New York, and Dubai to the vibrant atmosphere of Valencia, Spain. In addition to her roles as a model, actress, and entrepreneur, she has taken on the mantle of publisher for the online magazine SAXS, further solidifying her influence in the fashion industry.

The partnership between Princess Keisha and Jerry Lopez has roots that extend back a decade to their collaboration during New York Fashion Week, where they worked with fashion designer Maggie Norris. This recent venture was sparked by a serendipitous meeting as Jerry was in Barcelona attending a fashion course at Vive Verano.

A Royal Collaboration

Cynthia Altoriso, a creative consultant, stylist, and longtime friend of both Jerry and Princess Keisha, played a crucial role in coordinating this exciting project. While Jerry was in Spain, Cynthia seized the opportunity to bring together the elements necessary for a stunning photoshoot in Valencia.

Liliana Triana Díaz, the manager of the training program at Vive Verano at IDEP Barcelona, facilitated the acquisition of elegant clothing for the shoot. She collaborated with the renowned brand Marco Y Maria, which graciously provided exclusive dresses that would showcase both the princess and the city’s artistic flair. With the brand’s presence spanning from Tenerife to Madrid, express shipping was arranged to ensure the garments arrived in time for the shoot.

When Princess Keisha sought a venue for her makeup preparations ahead of the photo shoot, she reached out to her community in Spain known as “The Royal Family.” Carmen Iturriage, the owner of Te Vas A Casar and a valued community member, promptly connected with Maurici Segú, the proprietor of ALMA SUITES, who is also part of the group. In a generous gesture, he offered a beautiful space for the SAXS Magazine team to get ready for the shoot. The selected sites for this artistic project were two of Valencia’s most renowned landmarks: the historic city center and the breathtaking Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, also known as the Museum of Science and Art.

Among the standout pieces featured in the photoshoot were a lavender dress designed by Valencia’s own Isabel Serrano, custom-made for Princess Keisha’s appearance at the GRAMMY Awards, and a striking white gown from Marco Y Maria. The white gown, embodying elegance and luxury, was perfectly suited to the architectural backdrop, reflecting a sense of empowered femininity akin to a bride in love with art.

Although the original plan included four different looks, time constraints due to the early sunset allowed for the capture of only two. However, the creativity and determination of the entire team ensured that the essence of Valencia was beautifully preserved in the images.

An integral part of the team, HRH Prince Kunle Omilana, provided invaluable support by assisting Jerry with lighting and ensuring each shot of Princess Keisha was captured flawlessly. This royal collaboration not only showcased the talents of all involved but also served as a tribute to the vibrant spirit of Valencia, capturing its essence through the lens of fashion and art.
